The Mer Group was established in 1982, and has been traded publically since 1992 (TASE: CMER). The group consists of three main divisions – security, telecom, and cleantech – while maintaining holdings in selected companies in other areas, including satellite communications, biotechnology and materials science. Leveraging some of Israel’s brightest minds and an extensive global network, Mer Group has been able to consistently increase profitability and create value for customers, shareholders and other stakeholders.
Telecom Division
The telecom division offers a variety of solutions in infrastructure, hardware, software and value-added services worldwide to network operators, telecom providers, cable operators, MVNOs, MVNEs, SIM card manufacturers, financial companies, and governmental organizations. The division utilizes technological innovation to overcome challenges such as inaccessible areas, environmental considerations, tight schedules and integration with legacy systems.
Security Division
The Security Division combines in-house best-of-breed solutions with thorough experience in integration and development to deliver large-scale turnkey projects to homeland security forces, military, intelligence organizations, governments, and local security forces. Solutions offered by the division include safe city projects, mega-events security, infrastructure security, communications solutions for security forces, control and intelligence management systems, fast deployment hospitals and more.
Cleantech Division
The cleantech division provides a range of comprehensive solutions in alternative energy – wind, solar and natural gas, and in water and wastewater infrastructure. The division leverages the Mer Group’s global footprint and engineering expertise to deploy solutions that are both sustainable and profitable.
