The contracts signed in Africa continue the long list of projects awarded to the company in the Caribbean, Central America, Eastern Europe and the USA, for HLS, communications, border monitoring and communications and emergency infrastructure. The contracts are valued at approximately 122 million NIS.
Holon, August 14, 2017: MER Group (TASE: CMER), provider of telecom, security, intelligence, and cyber solutions, announces that it has won tenders for two homeland security, national security and energy projects in central Africa, valued at approximately 30 million NIS.
The company expects to sign an additional contract in the next few days to establish and upgrade a safe city project.
The projects awarded in Africa, are an addition to the company’s reports over the last months about the tender that it won to develop smart-city infrastructure in the Caribbean valued at 55 million NIS; the supply and installation of sophisticated communications systems for several security facilities in a central African country, valued at approximately 20 million NIS; The border monitoring security project in eastern Europe valued at 17 million NIS and the 30 million NIS awarded to develop emergency communications infrastructure in an additional building in the World Trade Center complex in New York.
